Overview
The oldest part of Easter Corrie, this characterful dwelling has worn many hats over the centuries, original farmhouse, animal shelter and even a dormitory for farm workers among them. Now sensitively converted into a standalone cottage, it pairs its deep history with a large modern extension housing the kitchen and living area. Wide windows frame incredible views across Glenlivet and the surrounding hills, and it's a true favourite with returning guests. Full of character and beautifully positioned, it's a warm, welcoming base in the heart of the Cairngorms countryside.

Easter Corrie sits in Glenlivet, within the Cairngorms National Park, home to some of the darkest, clearest skies in the UK. The Cairngorms holds Dark Sky Park status (the Tomintoul and Glenlivet Dark Sky Park is among the most northerly in the world), so on a clear night the number of stars, the brightness of the Milky Way and the chance of catching meteor showers, or even the aurora, are exceptional. This cottage is well set up to enjoy it: the wide windows across the kitchen and living area mean you can watch the sky come alive over Glenlivet and the hills from the warmth indoors, then step outside into genuinely dark surroundings for the full, unobstructed view.
