Overview
Corrie Cottage was once part of the working steading at Eastertown Farm, home to the farm's animals in days gone by. Beautifully renovated, it's now a characterful retreat with spectacular views across the valley. The original farm building charm remains, four-foot-thick stone walls and a slate roof, paired with thoughtful modern touches: ceiling windows that draw in the light, and a giant south-facing sun room that makes a warm, spacious spot to sit and take in the surrounding countryside whatever the weather. Outside, a private patio and garden give you somewhere peaceful to relax, with parking on site. It's a cosy, away-from-it-all base with the landscape front and centre.

Stargazing guide
Corrie Cottage is unusually well set up for stargazing, thanks to two features most stays don't have. The ceiling windows mean you can watch the night sky from inside, in the warmth, ideal on colder or blustery nights when you'd rather not be outdoors, while the giant south-facing sun room offers a wide, sheltered view of the sky exactly where it matters most: the south is where the Moon, planets and the brightest constellations track across the night. On a clear night you can settle into the sun room with a hot drink and watch the stars come out over the valley, then step out onto the private patio and garden for an unobstructed view once your eyes adjust.
